Wat doe je als Facilities & Support Officer

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Facilities: You will oversee and manage all aspects of facility maintenance and operations to ensure a clean, functional, and sustainable work environment. This includes coordinating cleaning services, maintenance, repairs, and subcontractor work, organizing meetings and managing office supplies, and driving sustainability initiatives within facility management.
  • Reporting & monitoring: You will provide facility reporting and monitoring to ensure compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This includes following up on facility contracts, continuously evaluating and monitoring the performance and proposing improvements, analysing key metrics and KPIs (e.g., water, gas, electricity usage) and taking corrective actions.
  • Administrative support: You will provide administrative support to the General Manager, the HR department and the Health & Safety department to ensure efficient operations and compliance. This includes offering general administrative support, managing training administration, time registration system, updating documents, assisting with H&S material check-ups, and obtaining inspection reports and permits.
  • Fleet coordination: You will manage administrative and coordinating tasks related to the company fleet. This includes ordering new company cars, fuel cards, and loading stations, addressing drivers' questions and checking fleet related invoices.
  • Back-up role: You will serve as a back-up for the Internal Support Assistant, handling vendor creation in SAP and managing supplier qualification-related administration.
  • Travel management: You will arrange business travel and ensure smooth coordination of all travel related matters.

What makes you the right candidate for this role?

  • You possess a bachelor’s degree, and experience in facility management is a plus.
  • You demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • You work independently with discretion and reliability.
  • You excel in collaborating with colleagues across departments, understanding their needs and delivering excellent service.
  • You have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, with French being an asset.
