Project Engineer

• CALCULATE: stability calculations of the steel structure or industrial buildings cfr. de European or international norm, roof stability in function of the installation of solar panels, … and making the calculation notes.
  For the stability calculations, we use the software SCIA ENGINEER (mostly), DIAMONDS, POWERFRAME, POWERCONNECT.
• DESIGN: 3D modelling, detailing en tracing of the structures into production drawings, contruction drawings and lists necessary. To design the 3D-model and to trace the model into production plans, we use the 3D-design-software TEKLA
• There is a lot of variation in the type of projects... the projects can be: fire escapes, support structures for machinery, a total industrial building, sports halls, schools, hospitals ... 

Education: CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER or CIVIL ENGINEER

• You have a quick insight into structures and concepts
• You have spatial awareness and are familiar with the principles of technical drawing.
• You are familiar with CAD drawing software (Tekla Structure for Steel) or are willing to learn.
• You are familiar with accounting software (SCIA ENGINEER) or are willing to learn.
• You have a fluent knowledge of standard computer applications such as MS Office.
• You are accurate, resourceful and result oriented.
• You can convey your knowledge and enthusiasm in a motivating and supportive way to the team.
• You focus on quality, administrative monitoring and profitability of your project.
